Arriving at Jenderal Besar Sudirman Airport, Purbalingga Regency, the Head of State is scheduled to review the development of the airport. General Besar Sudirman Airport itself has started operating since June 1, 2021 and made its first commercial flight on June 3, 2021.
Next, the President will take off to the Ahmad Yani Army Main Air Base, Semarang City. Upon arrival in Semarang, the Head of State immediately moved to the Tanjung Emas Port passenger terminal to review the implementation of the mass vaccination which was intended for ship users, port workers, communities around the port, to people with disabilities.
During this working visit, the Head of State is also planned to provide guidance to Forkopimda throughout Central Java Province regarding the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. The briefing will take place at the Central Java Governor’s Office complex.
“The President is very concerned about the development of the Covid condition in Indonesia, so the President will directly provide direction. We know beforehand that the President also visited Riau Province and the Riau Islands where he gave direct directions to regents, mayors and of course provincial government ranks,” said Heru Budi Hartono.
In addition, Jokowi will also review the construction of the Semarang-Demak toll road section, which is located in the Sidogemah area, Sayung District, Demak Regency.
Also participating in the flight to Central Java Province were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Military Secretary of the President of the Marsda TNI M Tonny Harjono, and Commander of Paspampres Maj.
