Britaniacenter.com – The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, reviewed the condition of the floodgates in Manggarai, South Jakarta to monitor the water level on Monday, February 8, 2021.

Anies said, in anticipation of the rainy season, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has been on standby to monitor rainfall conditions in mountainous areas, with the aim of measuring the volume of water flowing downstream.

According to him, all SDA DKI officials consistently monitor the condition of the Katulampa dam, Bogor, Depok, and the Manggarai floodgate, so that coordination between floodgates in Jakarta is safely controlled.

“We are grateful that the mud raiding program that we have implemented in the last few months has shown its results. Where the waterways in the drainage system in Jakarta can be cleaned,” said Anies.

“So that we can better manage the overflow of rainwater. We are of course still vigilant because the rainy season has not yet ended, but our team is all ready, from Katulampa, Depok, Manggarai, to all other floodgates in Jakarta,” he continued.
