150 Indonesian Migrant Workers in Taiwan Participate in Banser Training

Changhua, Britaniacenter.com – At least 150 Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) from various regions in Taiwan, participated in the Integrated Basic Ansor Multipurpose Education and Training (Banser) in Changhua. The activity was opened online by the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Saturday (13/2/2021).

The general chairman of the Ansor Youth Movement (GP) advised the members of the Ansor GP in Taiwan to instill the noble values ​​planted by their predecessors, namely where the earth is set, where the sky is upheld.

“So, we should not be jumawa or act arbitrarily as in our own homes,” said Gus Yaqut reminded.

The training, which was held in Changhua, lasted for two days on February 13-14, 2021, when PMI was on the Chinese New Year holiday.

The PMI training participants came from Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Kaohsiung, Donggang, Pingtung, Huailien, and Changhua as the hosts.

“This year’s training is carried out in the context of cadre training to continue the struggle of the NU community,” said Chairman of the Ansor Taiwan GP, ​​Abdul Mukti.

Every year, the Taiwanese GP of Ansor holds a Banser Education and Training with PMI participants, both men and women.

The number of PMI in Taiwan to date is estimated at 290,000 men and women who work in the formal and informal sectors with a three-year contract period.
